IXP - BGP Peering
Would you kindly consider preparing an explainer on how ISPs exchange routing information in an IXP. I understand that there are two basic approaches to this - 1) full mesh direct peering , 2) routing server with one peering per ISP-2-SERVER. How are IP addresses allocated in an IXP. Do they use VLANS-802.1Q? How is the "switch" created - LISP-VXLAN? Who are the major IXPs - Equinex? These are the sorts of questions that should be addressed.
